Homosexuality defeats the Fitrah

As a human being we must live a life according to the rules and regulation that has been prescribed by Allah. Allah has determined for us a very complete and beautiful system through the way of Shariah as our daily routine. Allah determines the system and the laws to all His creations to ensure that we can lead to a blissful life in the world and the hereafter.

But today, we can see that w have to encounter with so many problems and crisis because we lead our life towards the way against the Shariah. Would it be easier and better for us as the creation to follow and obey what has been laid down by the Creator? However, because of our ignorance and arrogance, we have to suffer with the problems that come because of our fault.

Homosexuality is actually not a new issue. It is defined as of, relating to, or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another of the same gender. It has existed a way back before, but this issue seems to be expanding and endangering the society. Because of the same sex attraction, it has developed the love between the same gender. After they have develop the illicit love, it may lead to the sexual intercourse between them through the unnatural way for example sodomy and oral sex.

[فَأَنجَيْنَـهُ وَأَهْلَهُ إِلاَّ امْرَأَتَهُ كَانَتْ مِنَ الْغَـبِرِينَ - وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَّطَرًا فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَـقِبَةُ الْمُجْرِمِينَ ]

(83. Then We saved him and his family, except his wife; she was of the Ghabirin (those who lagged behind).) (84. And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). Then see what was the end of the criminals.)

As a muslim, we bear the responsibility to prevent this social disease from expanding and endanger our society. Thus, firstly, we have to go back and submit ourselves fully to the laws of Allah. There is no other correct and best solution to avoid for this problem except following the correct path of Shariah. However, if we so arrogant with the sin that we have done, done it openly without any hesitation and fear, then we have to be ready with the disaster that might happen to us as what had happened to the tribe of Lut.

This is not the only social problems that endanger our society nowadays. There are a lot of problems for example the cases of murtad that keep expanding form day that day that need our intention. As a muslim, the proactive and effective solution should be done to ensure that our responsibility as a khalifah that life in the earth are fulfilled-to spread the truth and prevent form the astray.
