Iman is the believe, faith and trust. Iman means the saying is prove with the action. For example, we should believe and have strong faith that there will be the Day of Judgment after Qiamat even though e never seen how is the situation of Qiamat when it happen. We have never seen that because it is not happening yet but we believe that it is going to happen. Al-Quran and al-Hadith only give the information and knowledge about the Qiamat. As a muslim, it is compulsory upon us to believe that Qiamat is going to happen. We always come across with the question like when Qiamat is going to happen and there is even a propaganda made by the Westeners that Qiamat is going to happen on 21st December 2012. As a muslim who believe in the Aqidah of Muslim, it is a sin for us to believe that propaganda. We believe that Qiamat is going to happen but when, it is all under the knowledge of Allah. That is one of the example of Iman, that is our faith and believe.
According to the general definition given about iman, iman can be classified into three that are :
1. Our heart believe and admit
2. The tongue says what has been admitted in the heart
3. The part of our body carry out the command given
The main course of our Aqidah is to believe and admit the Oneness of Allah and His Perfection. As a muslim, we believe in Allah, His Oneness and Infinity of Power. The best solution of how to upgrade our iman work as the remainder for us, we are not going to live a life until forever, so it is better for us to always upgrade our iman, and make their iman stronger day by day. As a human being, we are being created to serve our Creator, so always remind in mind that everything that we do is going to be counted on the Day of Judgment.
